BHEH and the Central Bank of Libya Pentesting Collaboration
January 2026
We are honored to have successfully completed a major project and collaboration with the Central Bank of Libya (CBL).
BHEH (Black Hat Ethical Hacking), based in Cyprus, was selected to conduct advanced Internal and External Penetration Testing against some of the most state-of-the-art security defenses, while also demonstrating sophisticated offensive techniques aimed at further strengthening and hardening critical infrastructure.
We were truly impressed by the structure, maturity, and professionalism of CBL’s security posture, led by Mr. Mohamed Elbeshti and his exceptional team, who provided outstanding coordination, responsiveness, and technical collaboration throughout the engagement.
This project clearly demonstrates that Libya takes cybersecurity extremely seriously, especially when it comes to protecting the banking and financial ecosystem, often exceeding the level of security maturity observed in other regions.
We are proud to have contributed to this initiative and look forward to seeing CBL continue to set strong standards for cyber resilience, governance, and national financial security.
